These
prices include minor photo restoration such as color
correction done for free. If major restoration is needed
we will contact you with an estimate before the
restoration is done. We use a high quality Canon scanner
to scan each picture, negative or slide individually by
hand to ensure that no damage ever occurs to any of your
pictures.

If you want to add your own video to
the DVD as a separate chapter to be played before or
after the photo album the cost is an extra $10.00. If
you would like to have video mixed in with the photo's
in the photo album the cost will be a minimum of $50.00
depending on the exact requirements. You will be given
an estimate if this is the case. Since each DVD is
unique to each person who wants one, prices may vary if
your DVD requires special editing of video material.
Extra copies of your DVD Photo Albums
are $10 each.
Photo
Restoration
Our rates for major photo restoration
are done by an hourly rate of $25/hour with a 1 hour
minimum and vary from one photo to the next. You will be
contacted with an estimate after we have a chance to
examine the photo needing restoration. The estimates are
free and you are not obligated to use our service unless
you approve the estimate given to you. Most photo's can
be restored in 1 or 2 hours each. Minor photo
restoration can be done for $2.00 per picture if they
are not being used in a photo album we create for you.
Minor restorations are color and/or brightness
adjustments only.
Video Tape
Transfers to DVD
Each DVD should only have up to 2
hours of video. We can add more time to each DVD, but
the quality goes down as the amount of time goes up. To
maintain the best quality of transfer we recommend
limiting the time to 2 hours. At this bitrate there is
no loss of quality with VHS or VHS-C. There could be
minor quality loss with a miniDV tape, but it is
unlikely. Each DVD can have video from several video
tapes, or you can have each video tape transferred to
it's own DVD. The choice is yours to make but the price
per DVD will not change even if the DVD has only 15
minutes of video on it.
We charge $20
per DVD to transfer VHS, VHS-C or miniDV
video tapes to DVD. This price is for a simple transfer
with no menu system, it will be an "auto-play" DVD. That
means as soon as you put the disc in your DVD player it
will start playing the video that was transferred. It
will come with a simple label and packaged in a jewel
case.
If you wish to have a menu system and
full color printing on the DVD and DVD amaray case, as
we do with the DVD Photo Albums, the extra charge will
be $20 for a total of $40 per disc.
Extra copies of DVD's we transfer from
video tape can be purchased for $5 each for the simple
transfers and $10 each if they have color DVD case
wrapping and DVD disc printing.
